Arts Electronic (EA) has revealed plans to bring the FIFA game on Facebook. This will be done through encouraging the game developer Playfish.

Not many details are revealed about the game. One that has been revealed, as quoted from Joystiq, Tuesday (11/05/2010), the game will have multiplayer features.

“Bringing our knowledge about football games and gaming in marriage to the social skills of clear Playfish will open great opportunities,” said Peter Moore, President of EA Sports, a division of EA’s sports games.

Although not directly mentioned, the game seemed to be related to the 2010 World Cup. “Hundreds of millions of fans can compete to win the FIFA World Cup through the interactive experience of playing attractive football,” Moore promises.

Moore also promised to reveal more about this game soon. Predictably, this announcement will be made before the carpet in 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
